CLASS SCHEDULE FOR FEBRUARY
VEGETABLE GARDENING: Sat., Feb. 16, at 10:00 am

If you are interested in growing your own vegetables, this class will get you started. Whether you want to incorporate edibles in existing landscaping, grow them in containers or raised beds, or plant directly in the ground, this class will discuss where to site your garden, and how to prepare your soil. We will talk about varieties that are good to plant this season, and which veggies are better started from seed (and tell you how to do that!) or from plants. Information about maintaining your garden, composting, and controlling pests and diseases will also be covered. Cost of the class is $5.00. Please call to let us know that you are coming - with our shrinking space, class size will be limited.
